Event cancellations & updates from your business community

The following is a list of cancellations and updates that have been submitted to the Chamber Office or taken from recent postings from these businesses. This page will be updated as more information comes in.

  • As o Thursday, March 19th Welia Health pharmacy will be closed to walk-in visitors for prescription pick-up. Curbside pickup, mail services and local delivery (Pine City only) are available. Pine City Community Pharmacy: 320.322.5141
  • Early Years Academy Child Care will be closing at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 20th and will not re-open until Monday, April 13th.
  • As of Friday, March 20th Family Pathways has voluntarily closed all 11 thrift store locations in the region.
  • Therapeutic Services Agency remains open and available to assist. Telehealth services are available to current clients and members of the community. Please contact our office at 320-629-7600 for more information.
  • Bulrush Golf Club will be open for carry out orders from 11am – 1pm and again from 4pm – 7pm daily. Closed Mondays.
  • Pine Comb Hair Salon is closed through March 27th due to the mandatory salon closing announced on Tuesday evening.
  • Religious education classes at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church have been suspended until April 22nd. Our schedule follows the Pine City School District and we will update parents with future scheduling changes.
  • All public Masses are suspended at Immaculate Conception Church in Pine City from March 20 through April 20, 2020
  • Oak Park Dental has announced their intent to close for all non-emergency visits for the next two weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call us at 320-629-2282.
  • Pine Insurance Agency has cancelled their Defensive Driving classes for March & April. They will be rescheduled at a later date.
  • FREE CONE DAY at the Pine City Dairy Queen has been postponed for a later date. Follow the local page on Facebook for more details.
  • Northern Pines Assisted Living facility has canceled their Thursday BINGO events until further notice. Additionally, their facility is NOT accepting visitors at this time. Questions can be directed to 320.629.7272.
  • Pine Area Lions will postpone the Bunny Hop 5K & Cub Run event scheduled in April.
  • The Pine City Chamber’s New Event — Passport Tasting — will be postponed and scheduled for a future date.
  • The Pine City Heritage Players production of “The Odd Couple” has been canceled. Ticket refunds are available at the Chamber Office for anyone that purchased tickets in advance.
  • The Inventors & Entreprenuers Club event scheduled for March 24th has been canceled.
  • The Empty Bowls Fundraiser lunch at the Braham Event Center on March 19th has been canceled.
  • The Knights of Columbus Fish Fry events for Friday evenings during lent have ALL been canceled.
  • Pine City High School Trap Shooting Team Sign-up on March 19th and the first practice on March 29th have been canceled.
  • Anytime Fitness of Pine City will be temporarily closed from March 17th thru March 27th.
  • Mom’s Parkside Cafe is open regular hours Tuesday (7am – 2pm) beginning tomorrow they will offer curbside carry-out from 10am – 2pm (Wednesday – Friday)
  • Froggy’s Bar & Grill is open today (Tuesday) until 5PM. Curbside pick-up and delivery options available after 5PM. (320) 629-9917
  • Nicoll’s Cafe will begin Curbside Take-out orders on Wednesday. Pick-up will be from the back door. Call 629-6833 to place an order.
  • Vannelli’s Landing will implement a temporary change in hours of operation. They will also be making Curbside Pick-up and Delivery options available to their customers. Monday – Friday 4 – 8 PM and Saturday – Sunday 12 – 8 PM. Call 320-629-9979 to place an order.
  • Boondoggle Winery will be closed for the next two weeks, or until advised by the state that they can re-open.
  • The Pine Center for the Arts have cancelled all classes and special events in their facility through March 31st.
  • The City of Pine City has cancelled all committee meetings scheduled from March 18th through March 31st. The full list can be found on their facebook page.
  • Three Twenty Brewing Co. has cancelled BINGO and their food truck for this Saturday, March 21st.
  • Chubbys Sports Bar & Grill Pine City will be open from 11am to 8pm for to go orders every day. Specials will be posted daily on our Facebook page otherwise call 320-629-8108
  • Pizza Pub of Pine City will be offering delivery and curbside pick-up beginning today and running through March 27th. Whenever possible, please consider pre-paying with a credit card and designating a place for no-contact delivery.
  • Currie, Pangerl & Associates, Ltd. is opting to cancel currently scheduled face to face appointments and request that client documents be dropped off, mailed or securely uploaded via email for tax preparation to be completed. We will still continue to prepare tax returns and provide our regular services with minimized risk. Specific plans can be discussed with your tax preparer, and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
  • Todd’s Tax Service LLC is open for business and will continue to service existing clients through the end of the tax season. Clients are invited to drop off their tax information in our mail slot next to our front door. Clients may also mail us their information (call if you need us to send you a pre-addressed stamped envelope for use in sending us information) or upload it via our secure portal (link on website). I will also offer notary services to existing clients via our drop slot – please call first to make arrangements. While we are not accepting new clients at this time, we will offer free tax preparation to Lake and Pine’s clients who had their appointments cancelled. Please call for arrangements and exceptions.
  • The Pine County Board Meeting scheduled for tomorrow, March 17th will have changes made to the agenda in order to eliminate public hearings or other items that would have a need for greater public input. An amended agenda will be posted to the County website on Monday afternoon.
  • Signatures Closing & Title remains open for business, but will close their doors to walk-in visitors. Customers who are scheduled for their closings, and arrive early for their appointment, will need to wait in their vehicles. In addition, only signers specific to the transaction will be allowed in the building. So kids, family members and even the lenders will not be allowed to attend the closing.  They will be screened for information regarding travel and exposure to those who have traveled.   They will need to sign in for their closing so we have records of who has entered our buildings.
  • Furnishings for You will be closed this week. March 16 – 22.
  • New Horizon Thrift Store will be closed this week. March 16-23
  • Updates for Cabin Coffees
    • New hours will be Mon-Fri 6am – 2pm and Sat 7am – 2pm
    • Dining room will be closed, Drive-thru Service ONLY
    • We will still be offering delivery from 11am – 2pm.
  • Hours of Operation will temporarily change for Walmart Stores. All stores will be open from 6am – 11pm daily.
  • AWANA and Frontline ministries at Evangelical Free Church will be suspended for at least the next 2 weeks (March 18 & 25).
  • Celebrate Recovery ministries at Journey North Church will be suspended for the next two weeks (March 16 & 23). Overdrive & FUEL youth programs for March 18th and March 25th have also been canceled.
  • First Presbyterian Church will not hold services or other planned activities for the remainder of March.
  • As of March 17 all worship services and church activities at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will be cancelled for the next 2 weeks.  No Lenten worship March 18 and 25, no Sunday worship March 22 and March 29. 
  • The Pine City Public Library, Community Room, and all scheduled group activities in the Library have been canceled through March 27th.
  • Senior Dining Services (Catholic Charities or CC) has decided to stop all congregate dining until further notice. Congregate diners will have a “”take out”  or “grab and go” option for their hot meal today and tomorrow.  Any meal pick -ups by diners will be coordinated by staff through “back door” means following the social distancing guidelines put out by the CDC.   They will also be sending 10 frozen meals with each diner who picks up a hot meal to get them through the next 2 weeks.  Diners can put 5 meals in their refrigerator, and 5 meals in their freezer if freezer space is an issue. For meals on wheels, CC will be sending out 1 hot and 10 frozen today and tomorrow. Again, all MOW diners have been called by the Coordinator, but additional program information can be found on the Catholic Charities website. 
  • Lakeside Health & Rehab has been closed to all visitors effective immediately.
